Charging Models and More

There are lots of ways for you to charge your employees for parking, and Parkio supports all of them.

• Monthly Permits. Monthly Permits are the simplest way to start charging your employees for on-site parking. Parkio supports self-service permit registration and/or full-service registration by someone on your organization's parking team. When used in conjunction with our enforcement tools, you can achieve high degrees of compliance and record valuable daily usage statistics.
• Daily Charges. Parking is a commodity; why not charge for it like one? By charging for parking on consumption basis, you can maximize ROI on your parking infrastructure while also encouraging the adoption of alternative commute modes when available. (By contrast, there is little incentive for a permit holder to try to carpool to work one day per month).
• Daily Charges + Commute Bonuses. We encourage employers with tight constraints on their parking inventory to consider adding commute bonuses to their on-campus parking program. By awarding small bonuses to employees who utilize alternative modes on transportation in their daily commute, you can offer a carrot to go along with the stick of parking charges . Bonus-eligible commute activity can be reported via self-service tools, and is automatically verified against parking records to prevent improper use.

Killer Management Tools

We recognize that customer service is a big part of any facilities team. No matter how simple we make our software, we won't be able to prevent employees from calling you with questions and concerns. However, we can do our best to make these customer service-type interactions as painless as possible. We've make it simple to quickly view all records for a particular employee, modify and/or delete charges as appropriate, issue guaranteed ride home certificates, or handle dozens of common requests. Parkio also provides a built-in ticketing system for handling custom, program-specific requests.
